Conservation & Restoration
Hobart & Herons work with Listed Buildings spans in excess of 20 years. The projects range over many building types, such as Retail, Residential, Private Clubs, Golf Clubs, Schools and Hotels. Some of most challenging in recent times have been in the centre of Belfast. Projects such as Cleaver House, McAuley House, The Reform Club, and most recently Fountain House. Other buildings examples include Radisson Rose Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club, Montalto House, University Road Methodist Church, and most recently Royal County Down Golf Club.

We treat all Conservation projects with a sensitive approach. They have a valuable contribution to make to the visual heritage, and streetscape of our built environment. Many of these Conservation projects have involved a major change of use during the design process, to ensure they still remain viable properties within or cities, towns or countryside. This has involved us combining our specialists design skills along with our commercial skills to achieve a solution that satisfies our Clients, Planning Authorities and other Conservation Groups and Advisors. The end results have all been well received by our Clients, Planners and Historic Building Branch.
